What is Ketsugo?

Ketsugo is a unique skin treatment that reduces and normalises oily skin and is very effective on both oily and combination skin anywhere on the body.

Research shows that 80% of teenagers experience some form of clogged pores, spots and blackheads on the face, neck, chest and back areas due to excessive oil production.

Ketsugo can be used on its own, as a treatment product, or in conjunction with your normal skincare products.

The active compound in Ketsugo was originally extracted from a marine-based organism. It is now made synthetically and is known as Isolutrol. This ingredient has the unique ability to gently normalise and reduce the amount of oil that the skin’s oil(sebaceous)glands produce. Japanese and Australian scientists worked for over five years to isolate this substance into a pure, effective and usable compound. When they finally succeeded the scientific breakthrough was considered so important that Isolutrol is now protected by a world patent.

Ketsugo can normalise the oil production from the sebaceous glands within 4-6 weeks. Improvements can be seen after only 1-2 weeks. Ketsugo is allergy-tested and is well tolerated, even on sensitive skin.

Oily Skin

• Oily skin is the result of over productive sebaceous glands. Ketsugo gently reduces the amount of oil(sebum) produced by the sebaceous glands. During the treatment with Ketsugo, the sebaceous glands gradually produce a normal amount of oil and the skin does not dry out. Over drying of the skin can lead to more production of oil to compensate for the dryness.
• Combination skin happens when oil production varies over the facial area. It is often referred to as the T zone and incorporates the forehead, nose and chin area of the face. The T zone can be prone to oiliness leading to clogged pores and outbreaks of spots. The remaining area of facial skin can be dry or normal. Combination skin often occurs during the summer months or for women at the onset to PMT.
• Whiteheads, blackheads, spots and acne can be caused by hormonal disorder, stress and nervousness.
• These symptoms can aggravate and enlarge the sebaceous glands which then produce excess oil.
• Skin then becomes shiny, pores expand and the complexion looks blemished.
• If left untreated, the problem can get worse as the elimination of dead skin cells begins to slow down blocking the sebaceous glands and preventing oil from getting through.
• KETSUGO has been the subject of a series of very thorough and strictly controlled clinical and safety studies plus assessment by a dermatologist on men and women with excessively oily facial skin: 40 men and women with severe oiliness of the facial skin took part in trials conducted by a French dermatologist. Results show that within 21 days, 65% of the men and women had skin within the normal oiliness range and all reported an improvement in the quality and feel of their facial skin.
