Giving Your Morning A Lift
Courtesy of Herbal Essences come these top tips for giving your morning a boost. It made me smile as I sang a bit of Madonna at the top of my voice on the way to the salon this morning.
- Keep a glass of water next to your bed and take a good gulp when you wake up to re-hydrate your body.
- Put your alarm clock on the other side of your bedroom so you have to get out of bed to turn it off in the morning.
- Turn on the light or open your curtains the moment you wake up to give your day a bright start.
- Always make time for breakfast. Not only will it restock your reserves, it’ll also speed up your natural metabolism.
- Don’t just listen to music in the car, turn up the volume and sing along to it too.
- Drink a fruit smoothie instead of that mid-morning tea or coffee for a healthy hit of natural energy.
